General Information

Some of the best deep sea fishing on Florida's east coast is found here on the Space Coast. Located just 45 minutes from Orlando and Disney World and right next door to Kennedy Space Center. Where else could you enjoy sport fishing aboard a charter boat and possibly witness a rocket launch. Wild Bill, where billfish and rockets launch side by side.

Wild Bill bears the name of the Captain's father. Wild Bill is a 37' Hatteras powered by two Detroit Diesel engines. Her cabin is fully air conditioned and equipped with a large comfortable head (bathroom).
The Wild Bill is equipped with more than the required safety equipment including life jackets, life raft, EPIRB, 2 VHF radios & SSB radio.

Whether this is your first trip aboard a charter boat or you are an old salt, we would like to share some information with you that you may find helpful.
DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERA!!!
This may sound strange, but many do just that.
Bring plenty of sunscreen and quality sunglasses. You should wear soft soled shoes (preferrably non-marking soles), a hat and bring along a long sleeved shirt.

Your food and drink are your responsibility. Crackers or pretzels are recommended in case someone in your party gets motion sickness. Bring lots to drink, include water. And please, no glass containers.

NO BANANAS
Bananas are very bad luck.

Should any member of your party have a medical condition or require special medication, please inform the Captain prior to departure.

The crew will clean and package your catch so bring a cooler to put it in. Should you have questions regarding the transportation of fish via air or other means of transport, the crew will be glad to assist you.

Please remember to tip your mate. He will make every effort to make your trip enjoyable so please tip him accordingly. The customary tip is 15% to 25% of the charter fee, however, if he earns it then feel free to give him a little more, I'm sure he won't mind.
